Lamb portraits? You know you need one (or two or three)! 
With limited colors and a cute face, this lamb is a must-do. Suitable for beginners, it is also fun for experienced felters. The default lamb measures 4” ear to ear and 3” tall. If you want a bigger lamb, an alternate pattern suitable for enlarging is included.

This is a bas relief sculpture.
Bas relief or 2.5D is a popular woodcarving style. Designed to be viewed only from the front, the depth of the sculpture is just enough to show the separation of shapes. I've adapted the style to work for needle felting. You get the fun of sculpting, but with proper proportions baked in, and no wires.

SWiFT Bas Relief Projects provide everything you need to create the base sculpture. Coloring guides that use a limited color pallet are also provided, but you are free to color it however you wish. 

The Project Sheet Includes:

• A second pattern that can be scaled up to 200%
• Step-by-step instructions
• Coloring and finishing tips

Wool Needed:

You'll need .2 oz (5 grams) of core wool, .010 oz (.5 grams) of pink wool, and a few wisps of black wool.
Optional colors: .010 oz (.5 grams) each of light brown wool and .010 oz (.5 grams) of pure white wool roving. The white is easier to make into curls and adds a nice contrast to the off-white core coloring.

What about coloring?

This project (and all BRP projects) includes instruction for coloring the project with limited colors. You are of course able to color it to meet your vision.
